Ungulates populations in NW
Knowledge about ungulate populations and their dynamics are crucial for sustainable wildlife management. In Nidwald, annual countings are organised to monitor ungulate populations. In this study, we assessed the accuracy of current estimates of population densities of red deer, roe deer and chamois.
